Visual Resources Centre at the Harald Herlin Learning Centre focuses on using and producing visual media. The VRC guide contains a variety of image databases useful for learning, research and teaching. There is also guidance on how to use visual materials in dissertations, teaching, publications and artistic activities with copyright and citation advice.
Searching for images is one of the most frequent activities on the internet. The high quality content in arts and sciences that is available in image databases is not however reached by common search engines. The VRC guide offers approx. 100 image databases in architecture, design, visual art, photography and sciences.
